Extreme Weather
We have all seen the news with the different kinds of weather that are now impacting the earth globally, from wildfires to flash flooding, these are set to get worse if we do not do something, and quickly.
We want to do our part and as we have mentioned have already planted over 200 trees to combat, in our own small part, the CO2 that is currently heating up our planet. With temperatures rising everywhere we need to act now, using renewable energy where possible, as well as extracting as much CO2 out of the atmosphere as we can, we need to cool the planet down, otherwise we will continue to see these extreme weather events.
We don’t have all the answers, and do not claim to be experts, but we know that if we do our bit, we can help! Which ic why we have decided to take action, helping our customers offset any carbon generated during the manufacture of a computer or IT equipment, but with the continued absorption of CO2 using trees to help us.
We need to act immidiately to revers the impact that we have had on the planet, in 2021 alone, from flash floods in London, parts of Germany and New York, through to droughts and wildfires in many places across the globe, Greece, Australia and North America, all of these events risk of loss of life and homes.
We are seeing more and more, some parts of the world experiancing a more than usual dry climate, which leads to drought and in some instances wildfires.
Whereas, in other parts of the world, we are seeing flash flooding through massive, sudden downpours, which can be as high as 1 months rainfall in a few hours.
We all need to act now, this is a climate emergency, we can all do our part to help the Earth heal, it wont happen over night, but we are in a position to reverse and heal the effects, that we as a race are guilty of.
